and this is what the brother said.. he related examples, based on the om book, as to how jehovah kept records.
funny part is, they all applied to population, the amount of people.. is there any part of the bible that talks about how jehovah kept a log of hours on some occasion?

I knew a sister in california who would get her time started by throwing a WT out the window. My sister use to say she would count time from when she woke up till she went to bed.
Its funny as we discuss this you forget how much importance they would put on counting time!

Why dont Jehovah Witness pioneers and baptized publishers like the title 'Ordained Minister?'
by Joliette ini watched a video on this, and an independent filmmaker was asking a brother why dont jehovah's witnesses publishers and pioneers consider themselves to be ordanined ministers.
he went to a scripture and then said that the reason why we do this work, is to help our neighboors learn about the bible and live there lives according to it.
he seemed to distance himself from the title 'ordained minister.

This has been my theory on why most ex-dubs are atheist. I felt that the one thing JW's do well is tear down other religous belifs and structures. You go door to door to engage people and basically tell them what they were led to believe is wrong.
Now when you are faced with your crises of concious and find that the dubs are wrong that ever loving question comes up: Where will you go? For me the critique that I used to tear down others religion was turn on to the bible, what I found left the bible story and its god lacking.
Like was mentioned earlier atheism is merely a non-belief in god or religion as commonly practiced.

Since its bumped for those that care JA rule is not jehovah rules just simple Jeff atkins rules. Also DMX was raised by a JW influenced mother. He tells a story how he was hit by a car and they offered 10 grand in settlement and his mother refused it do to her JW beliefs.

Lately a JW friend of my wife has been calling her about 9:05 am. When she calls my wife always inquires what she is doing/ up to...The response is always 'getting ready for field service/ meet with group.' I told my wife she is using her (my wife) to get her time started! Did I mention this friend recently started pioneering. OOOHHHHH can you just feel the love and empathy they have for there fellow man?
I watch some brothers troll thru our Rosa Parks transit center (bus depot.) Thes brothers were just walking offering the rags to passerby's not really engaging in conversation, just sticking the rags in peoples faces and the few who accepted they did not even pay attention to them just kept moving on.
